Today the Museum of national art crafts and applied art celebrated the 40th anniversary since its first opening. The exhibition of the museum is unique for Bulgaria and has amazing wealth of funds.

The museum is currently holding 33 919 exponents, old and new applied art, many pictures, documents, personal belongings, magnificent ceramics collections, art metal and woodworking, textile and clothing.

The celebrations began with a performance of junior vocal group ‘Usmivka’ (Smile) which won second place in the contest ‘Eurovision’ for kids two days ago. Later the director of the museum invited the guests to see the exhibition.
