More that 500 citizens analyzed their cardiac status for free

More than 500 citizens and guests of Sofia had their cardiac status analyzed for free during the campaign “I love my heart”, part of the celebrations for the International day of the heart. In mobile stations across the city, citizens were able to check the risks for their heart, measuring their pulse, blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

The stars of the National theatre “Ivan Vazov” – Zahari Baharov, Vlado Karamazov, Valentin Tanev, Reni Vrangova and Valentin Ganev – joined and supported the initiative. Their blood pressure and cholesterol were measured by the team of prof. Asen Gudev – the future chairman of the Union of cardiologists of Bulgaria.

The musician Dani Milev, Miss Bulgaria 2000 Magdalina Valchanova and the actress Iskra Radeva were also among the people that tested the health of their hearts, along with numerous citizens of Sofia.

Other famous Bulgarians – Ivan Garelov, Radoslav Yankulov and Nikolai Georgiev – assisted the mobile station in front of the National palace of culture. The data for the host of show “Seers” was excellent, but the former long-time host of “Panorama” Garelov had to promise to lower his blood pressure, which was slightly above the norm.
