More and more Romanian tourists express interest in Veliko Tarnovo

The opportunities for shopping tourism, the ecological tourism routes and other attractions make Veliko Tarnovo a popular destination for Romanian tourists.
One of the most popular attractions for foreign tourists is the audio-visual spectacle “Sound and light”.
Tourists also expressed great interest in the presentation of Veliko Tarnovo at the international tourism market Romexpo in Romania. The presentation put an emphasis on the cultural and historical heritage of the city.
Romanian tourists are mostly interested in opportunities for family weekends, shopping tours and club events.
Our shopping in Romania is hideously expensive. Even though Romania as a EU Market has far more to offer because of our population etc than the Balkan and EE Countries. We have lots to offer as a EU Market in the EU in terms of shops. But that does not change the fact that it costs cup of coffee it costs over 5 Euros. While in Bulgaria it costs as little as under 5 Euros. Bulgaria has a better bargain for shopping.
We are not complaining because we are short of shops, complexes etc matter of fact were getting more each year, its just the Government doesn’t do much about lowering prices.
I would shop in Bulgaria, Serbia more than I would shop in Romania until the prices come down.
