The apartments in “Lyulin” – 24% cheaper

The average offers for apartments in the largest district of Sofia – “Lyulin” – dropped by 24% between November 2008 and the last week of May 2009, informs the newspaper Monitor.

The drop of prices of two-room apartments is greater – 25,6%, and in three-room apartments – smaller, 22,4%.

The biggest decrease of prices of two-two room apartments is in the first part of the district (“Lyuilin 1”) – 39%. The apartments are between 571 – 759 euro per square metre. The cheapest apartments cost about 40 000 euro, and the most expensive – 51 000 euro.

The offers for three-room apartments are down by 25% and vary between 40 000 and 89 000 euro.

The biggest drop of prices of three-room apartments for the last 6 months – 35% – occurred in the fifth part of the district (“Lyulin 5”). They’re currently on sale for up to 73 000 euro.
