The Ministry of emergencies begins a procedure for the choosing of candidates for operators and coordinators of the emergency telephone number 112 in Sofia.

The center will service the capital Sofia and the region, including the cities Pernik, Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad. 40 additional operators and coordinators will be hired in the center. Their duty is to receive and electronically manage the calls on the emergency telephone, re-directing them to the suitable institutions.

The competition includes a test and a field exam that includes a psychology test and an interview. The candidates can see the full application form in the sub-section “Competitions” on the Ministry’s website.

The competitions for the working places in similar centers in Montana, Ruse, Burgas, Kardzhali and Varna have yet to begin.
