The community centre “Yana Laskova” hosts the celebration of the 100th anniversary of theatre in Nesebar and the 10th anniversary of the municipality theatre, announced the press centre of the seaside city.

The event was opened by the art director of the theatre, Dimitar Elenov. A movie that told the story of the Municipality theatre of Nesebar was shown to the audience. Bulgarian actors like Dimitar Rachkov and Asen Blatechki shared their impressions of the theatre and their plays in the movie.

Dimitar Rachkov himself is a student of Elenov. He said that he always enjoyed playing in the Municipality theatre of Nesebar, because that means he will work with real professionalists. Asen Blatechki added, that Nesebar can be nothing but proud of a theatre like this.

The mayor of the municipality of Nesebar Nikolay Dimitrov and the secretary of the municipality Eli Kirilova were official guests of the event. The mayor presented a gift to the theatre on behalf of the municipality, and wished them further success. Mr. Elenov thanked the municipality administration for the aid they provide to the theatre.
