Nesebar celebrates it’s 25th anniversary as a village of cultural significance

Concerts, processions, exhibitions and an anniversary mass will mark the 25th anniversary of Nesebar as a place of international cultural significance under the protection of UNESCO. The celebrations will last for three days – December 6th – 8th, and will have a dense entertainment program, provided by the municipality.

For 25 years, Nesebar is the only Bulgarian city that has a recongized cultural significance by UNESCO, and the date deserves to be marked properly, announced the mayor of Nesebar Nikolay Dimitrov at a press conference recently. The celebrations will be dedicated to the people of the city-museum, who not only realize the unique stature of their city, but the difficulties of keeping it in shape.
