The exhibition “Sofia today”, which puts on display the finalists and the winner of the photo competition of Sofia Film Fest, can be seen in “Dom na kinoto” (Home of cinema).

The competition took place during the 13th edition of the festival. Within eight days, participants had to take and send up to five photographs for the contest.

The final selection included 25 photographs by the authors Iliyan Rujin, Alex Filipov, Dimitar Stoichev, Georgi Dimitrov, Ivailo Zlatkov, Ivan Botev, Ivan Minchev, Ivan Peikov, Kalin Petrov, Lilyana Dvoryanova, Liubomir Stamenov, Liusil Kolmish, Mikhail Petrov, Petya Karadjova, Petko Stamenov, Simeon Tsonchev, Stefan Galibov, Zafer Galibov, Tanya Nikolova, Ventsislav Bratovanov and Zlatina Georgieva.

The photograph of Petko Stamenov won first prize. It was hand-picked by the director Wim Wenders and his wife – the famous photographer Donata Wenders.
