Ovcharov presents Bulgarian archaeological landmarks in USA
Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov goes on a 12-day visit in USA, where he will read a series of lectures in American universities, announced Darik radio. He is the first Bulgarian archaeologist that will read lectures in USA.
In his presentations, Ovcharov will talk about Alexander’s tomb, the sanctuary by Tatul, and the archaeological complex Perperikon. The professor will talk in front of audiences in the universities in Illinois and Ohio, and in front of the Bulgarian community in Chicago.
Together with the tourist-informational center in Haskovo, prof. Ovcharov will present our landmarks in the international exposition “The global village”. 34 countries will participate in the exposition. Ovcharov will fly to USA on November 28th.
