Levski lost the first battle

Levski lost with 1:2 from Debretsen in the first playoff for the Champions league. The Hungarian team excelled during the match and are currently in a better position to enter the groups of the biggest commercial tournament. The “blue” team played decently, but the lack of Rabeh and Milanov resulted in a weak defense.

Ratko Dostanic used a small surprise in the starting team. The Serbian decided to use Lucio Wagner on the left side of the defense, and Veselin Minev on the right, replacing the injured Jivko Milanov. The experiment however, proved to be highly ineffective, and Milanov’s playing was very bad. On the left, Wagner didn’t do much either.

The lack of Vladimir Gadjev was strongly felt in the team of Levski, and Sarmov and Bardon couldn’t make up for his absence.
