Battles ahead for the Bulgarian socialists
The Chairman of the National council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Sergey Stanishev closed the 47th congress of the party.
The Prime Minister thanked for the trust of his colleagues on his re-election.
“The congress of the party sent three main messages to the supporters and members of our party. First, that BSP is a consolidated party, able to fight the serious political battles ahead of us. Second, BSP is a party that renews and develops itself constantly. These are all clear signs to Bulgarian citizens for the growth of our party, and that is a process that never stops.
And third – the discussions and and opinions were aimed at very real and up-to-date issues of the Bulgarian society. And we will continue with renewed energy”, said Stanishev.
According to him, the Bulgarian country experiences rebirth of democratic and European basics. “This process isn’t easy. Will, succession and persistence is needed for the goals of BSP”, added the Prime Minister.
He was resolute that one mandate isn’t enough to fulfil the ambitious goals of the socialists.
