Kuneva: This is an important new beginning for Bulgaria

After voting, the leader of the EP list of the party NDSV and Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Meglena Kuneva commented: “I voted for the Bulgarian europeans, to have strong citizens – when we have strong citizens, we’ll have strong institutions”.

“We depend on the European Union to give us the power to change – something we need so much and rely on so that we can be proud citizens of the best that the world can offer”, said Kuneva. According to her, the now concluded EP campaign will make her “come back over and over to meet Bulgarian europeans and to talk with them about the things we’re missing”.

“We entered the EU, so that Bulgaria can have a better existence. But that is only the beginning – not the end”, commented the leader of the EP list of NDSV.
