Bulgaria’s volleyball team classified in group C

Bulgaria’s national volleyball team (men) was classified in group C of the World League 2009. The lot was drawn in Lausanne and put the Bulgarians in one group with the teams of Russia, Japan and Cuba. Representatives of Bulgaria were the legendary volleyball player Liubomir Ganev and the member of the Council of managers of Bulgarian Volleyball Federation Ivan Todorov.

Matches inside the groups will be played from June 12 to 19. The final phase is from July 22 to 26. In group A are the teams of the US, Italy, China and Holland, in group B – Serbia, France, the Republic of Korea and Argentina, and in group D – Brazil, Poland, Finland and Venezuela.
