Since 1999, when the new Bulgarian laws for alcohol beverages were approved, the Bulgarian market offers quality alcohol. Those were the words of Gergana Tsaneva, director of the department “Register, licensing and control” in the Ministry of economics and energetics.

According to her, there is order in the production and placement of the products and a large part of the Bulgarian alcohol beverages are now of international quality.

Gergana Tsareva added, that for the last five years, there hasn’t been any case of sub-standard quality products on the Bulgarian market – nothing that could potentially harm the health of the Bulgarian consumer. She advised the consumers to abstain from beverages on tap and to stick with traditional brands.
