Unique historial military memorials were found by historians in North Dobrudja
With a science sensation ended the expedition in North Dobrudja for finding and exploring Bulgarian military graves and memorials from the First World War.
Until now it was thought that there are no reserved memorials, out of today’s borders of Bulgaria, of the soldiers, died during the war. However, the expedition was successful and two memorials were found. On the first one are written out the names of 35 Bulgarian soldiers. On the second memorial can be read the script ‘ The ashes of heroes create the Fatherland’.
The expedition took place by 6th to 11th October. It was organized by the History Museums in Tutrakan and Dobrich.
