A new exhibition, which was opened today in the old capital Veliko Tarnovo, gathered a unique collection of historic state symbols of Bulgarian rulers dating back from the country’s founding. Among the included relics are the throne and the sceptre of Tsar Ferdinand I, a copper coin of Ivan Asen II and a ring, a sceptre and a belt tag that have belonged to Khan Kubrat. Visitors will also be able to see many photos, documents, as well as the Preslav Gold treasure.

The exhibition includes 500 relics provided by 20 history museums from across the country and will be opened for a month.
