The songs of “Burgas and the sea” 2009 – announced in days

The selection of songs for the National song competition “Burgas and the sea” 2009 is over. Over 60 authors stated their wish to participate this year, some of them – with more than one song. The jury of the competition will debate tomorrow at 14:00 PM in the grand hall of the hotel “Mirage”.

The famous Bulgarian composer Stefan Dimitrov is the chairman of the jury. The jury also includes Toma Sprostanov, Orlin Goranov, Orlin Pavlov, Toni Dimcheva, Vanio Valchev, Ivan Kozhuharov. The municipality of Bourgas will be represented by Vesela Iordanova – director of the department “Culture, marketing and PR” and Mihail Kutsev – director of the OP “Summer theatre, festivals and concerts”.

According to the rules, the jury will choose 12 songs that will compete in the eliminations of the final stage of the competition on August 1st – 2nd 2009.
