Six Bulgarian hotels with prestigious awards

Bulgarian hotels were chosen as best among thousands of competitors from all countries that have developed tourism.

“Helena sands” and “Helena park” in Sunny Beach (Slanchev briag) took the top prizes of TUI-Germany, announced the hotel’s owner Mladen Mutafchiiski. They were included in the 100 top hotels from about 10 000 that the tour operator works with. This is the fifth consecutive award for “Helena sands”, which sets a record, and is the second consecutive award for “Helena park”. The worldwide recognition comes after a severe competition with thousands of hotels from all over the world.

The hotel “Riviera beach” in the resort with the same name was honoured by the German tour operator “Nekerman” (already a part of “Thomas Cook”). That was made clear by an inquiry – and 50 000 tourists casted their votes for “Riviera beach” as one of the 100 best hotel bases of “Nekerman”.

The hotel “RIU Helios” – Sunny Beach received the prestigious award “TUI Holly 2008”, given to the hundred best hotels that the customers of the tour operator TUI Travel PLC visited.

The hotels “Majestic” and “RIU Eureka” in Golden Sands got golden medals from TUI-UK for 2008. The awarding coincided with the worldwide tourism exhibition in London – WTM 2008. The “Majestic” hotel this award for a second consecutive year.
