Three teams from the American university in Bulgaria and two teams from the Technics university of Sofia registered to participate in the biggest technological competition for university students – Imagine Cup. It will take place in July 2009 in Cairo. The award for the в„–1 team is over 200 000 dollars.

The main topic of the upcoming competition is “Imagine a world where technology helps to solve the most serious problems of the day”.

The United Nations identified some of the greatest challenges that mankind faces in the Goals for the development millenium. They can be used as a starting point of project development by the contestants.
