Meeting: Impossible

The formal leader of the right-wing political party GERB Boiko Borisov extended yet another invitation to the socialist prime minister of Bulgaria Sergei Stanishev. The press center of GERB announced that Boiko Borisov promised to wait for the prime minister Sergei Stanishev in front of the official entrance of the Council of Ministers at 20:00.

Earlier today, the prime minister Sergei Stanishev invited Boiko Borisov to take part in a public debate on the Bulgarian national television.

The press center of the socialist party – BSP – announced that Sergei Stanishev declined the offer of Boiko Borisov for a meeting in front of the Council of ministers.

“Sergei Stanishev thanks Boiko Borisov for his quick response on his own invitation. The leader of BSP however, thinks that a serious discussion should take place in front of a wide audience, not on the street”, announced the press center of BSP.
