BNB releases the commemorative coin for Dechko Uzunov

The Bulgarian national bank releases the copper commemorative coin “110 years since the birth of Dechko Uzunov” from the series “Notable Bulgarian artists” this monday.

It has a nominal value of 2 leva and weighs 16.40 grams. Eight thousand commemorative coins will be made. The upper side of the coin displays the emblem of the Bulgarian national bank with the year 1879 on the ribbon, the nominal worth of 2 leva of the coin and the year of emission – 2009.

The back side of the coin displays Dechko Uzunov and the inscription “110 years since the birth of Dechko Uzunov”.

The author of the project is Petar Stoikov. The price of the coin at the pay-desks of BNB is 18 leva.
