An Azerbaijani company expressed interest in the investment of the cargo-related services of the Plovdiv airport.

The Ministry of transport can begin the concession procedure immediately. If that happens, the Plovdiv airport will be the only one in the country that gives separate services for concession.

The future concessioner can begin construction of the new cargo terminal immediately.

The new terminal in Plovdiv was officially opened on July 1st. 45 million leva were invested in the modernization of the airport. The airport can service up to five flights simultaneously.
