Russia expects from the new Bulgarian government continuity in the field of energy politics, stated the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of foreign affairs Andrei Nesterenko.

“We hope that the new Bulgarian government will support the stability of the political dialogue and will continue working for the realization of our mutual projects, especially the energy-related ones. They are beneficial to all sides of the deal”, noted the diplomat in front of journalists.

“Over the last few years, the relations between Bulgaria and Russia are characteristic with their productivity, which is a prerequisite for the improvement of the social and economical status of both countries”, added Nesterenko.
