Bulgaria will sign the contract for the pipeline “Nabucco”, said the Bulgarian minister of economics and energetics Petar Dimitrov.

“We’ve insisted on signing this contract for a long time. I heard the media announcement for the talks between the current prime minister Stanishev and Boiko Borisov (mayor of Sofia, leader of the party GERB, which won the parliamentary elections several days ago) and they both approved of the contract”, stated Dimitrov.

The minister said, that the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and the EU commissar of energetics will attend the ceremony of the signing.
