Agreement for unconditional aid signed between DAITS and Nancy McEldowney

An agreement for unconditional aid will be signed tomorrow, February 5th 2009, between the chairman of the National agency for informational technologies and communication (DAITS) and the ambassador of the US in Bulgaria Nancy McEldowney.

The official ceremony will take place in the Marble foyer of the Agency at 14:00.

The agreement is for analysis, which will evaluate the economical and technical opportunities for development of the communication infrastructure. The goal is to reach European administrative standards.

The analysis will aid the operative compatibility and informational security of the national systems of the communication infrastructure, and will aid the execution of the requirements of the Law for electronic management.

    This is very good for us,
    I am working for DAITS, and I can tell that many of their projects have no chance to be done. Actually they are trying to create any security for Bulgarian information technologies, but the laws are not allowing this
