There’s no danger of insolvency in the projects under operative programs

“There is no reason to worry that the government will not be able to pay for the projects under the operative programs”, said the vice-prime minister Meglena Plugchieva in front of journalists, after her speech in response to the political party “Coalition for Bulgaria”.

She noted that the amount of advance payments for operative projects from Brussels, is just 2% of the total sum for the period 2007-2013.

“Due to this year’s crisis, the European Commission increased these funds from two to four percent, which gives enough financial resource. There’s no reason to worry over paying the projects”, added Plugchieva.

According to her, the bigger problem is the payback.
