A four seated lift in Chepelare

A new, four seated lift will be open for exploitation in Chepelare mid-December. Investor for the machinery was the association “Chepelare resort” AD, with shareholders being the municipality of Chepelare with 49 % and “Rodopska initiative”" AD with 51% СЃ 51 %, reported in today’s issue the newspaper Monitor.

The lift will replace thoroughly the old lift, that has been in exploitation for about thirty years. The new machinery has a capacity of 2000 people per hour and will take tourists over 2700 metres for 9 minutes – the distance between Chepelare and the peak Mechi chal.
