Stanishev and Obama at a conference in Prague
The government press center announced that on April 5th, Sunday, the Bulgarian prime minister Sergei Stanishev and other leaders of countries in the European Union will meet the American president Barack Obama in Prague.
The high-rank meeting between the US and the European Union is in the context of the mutual struggle to overcome the negative consequences of the international economical and financial crisis.
This is the first opportunity for European governmental leaders to discuss the key issues of the EU with the new American president, including the issues about climate changes, energy safety and foreign relations.
