A hundred new vehicles “Sitroen Xara Picasso” were blessed and given to the police with a ceremony in front of the Monument of the Unknown soldier in Sofia.

They are half of the two hundred vehicles, purchased with funds from the European programs to strengthen the capacity of the outer green border of the European Union.

The project is worth 4 318 472 leva, VAT included. Half of the vehicles were given out in January to the regional police departments on our borders with Serbia, Macedonia and Turkey.
