Submitted on Wednesday, 4 March 2009No Comment

The most important results of my visit in India was the signing of the two treaties for the assuagement of the visa regime of travels. One of the treaties ensures that the owners of diplomatic passports don’t need visas. The second is a program for collaboration over the next three years in the fields of education and culture. We also made a callendar for our work in the following months.

Three joint commissions – for informational technologies, for science and technologies and for warfare production – will debate in Sofia. We are preparing for a visit of the president Parvanov in India by the end of the year; we also expect visits from Indian businessmen.

On the topic for treaties in the field of energetics, he said that there are several spheres in the field of energetics that will be topics for further discussion between the two countries. He added that Indian companies show interest in collaboration in the fields of solar and wind energies and the construction of such power stations in Bulgaria. They’ve also expressed interest in the teaching of specialists and the share of experience in the field of nuclear energetics.
