The sum, needed to organize and carry out the races for the ski World cup – women in Bansko on February 28th and March 1st 2009 is already provided, writes the newspaper Standard. The event will cost 3,5 million leva, and the financing was done by the National agency for sports and youth, and by other sponsors.

The National agency will provide for 50% to 60% of the needed sum. One million leva are already invested in the ski track “Banderitsa”, where the races will take place. The money were spent on making the track secure according to FIS standards.

The track will be equipped with 22 TV cameras. The race will be aired on TV channels like Eurosport, ORF, ZDF. Over 150 foreign and 60 Bulgarian journalists will be present at the event.
