50 companies offer jobs at “Careers 2009”

50 companies applied for the forum “Careers 2009 – good career, good life”, announced Svetlozar Petrov, chief execuitve of Jobtiger, during the opening press conference of the forum.

The companies applied for this year’s eighth forum. It will take place in nine cities over the course of 25 days.

It is organized by the Ministry of national administrations and Jobtiger, with the assistance of “Nestle Bulgaria” – AD.

“87 750 students and young people used the “Careers” forum for their professional realization”, said Nikolay Vasilev, minister of national administration and administrative reforms.

Many of them found jobs or gained skills in applying for jobs. As one of the biggest employers, the national administration will participate this year with unpaid training and 70 paid training jobs with 300 leva per month. The training jobs will go on for two months.

“We have 12 years of experience in that field”, says Adelina Kostova, manager of “Human resource” in “Nestle Bulgaria” – AD. “Nestle” organizes summer or full year of training. Of the 38 trainees last year, 21 have stayed on permanent jobs.

“In fields like “Marketing” and “Human resources”, between 50 and 70% of the people began as trainees from the program”, added Adelina Kostova.
