Levski triumphs over Saint Julia in the second half

Levski began their attempt at entering the Champions league with a success. The “Blue” team won with the convincing 4:0 result over Saint Julia. All goals came in the second half of the game. The defence of the team from Andorra could only hold on during the first half, and the guests ended thew game with 9 players, after significant penalties.

As was expected before the game, the Anorran team sealed themselves in front of their goalkeeper. During the first half of the game, the Levski team was too nervous and that affected their performance in key situations.

At the second half, the coach of Levski Emil Velev switched Nikolai Dimitrov with Ze Soarez, who was in good shape against Cherno more. This immediately showed. In the very beginning of the second half, the Brazilian made an excellent pass to Georgi Hristov which almost resulted in the first goal.

The inevitable happened in the 49th minute. Gadjev found Yovov, and after a collaboration between him, Minev and Tasevski the result was 1:0 for Levski.

Just three minutes later, Levski increased their advantage. The players of Saint Julia were too slow during their comeback from an attack, which Gadjev used to his advantage. He passed perfectly to the charging Hristov, who pierced the defence for the second goal of the Bulgarian team.

The Blue team continued their attacks. Soarez had a chance at the third goal in the 71st minute, but his strike was averted. Not long after that, Georgi Hristov scored his second goal and made the result 3:0.

In the 80th minute, Sain Julia was down to 9 people. Romero was out of the game because of a second yellow card. Immediately after that, Levski sealed the 4:0 result with a goal by Vladimir Gadjev.
