Three Bulgarian players begin the year in the top 10 of Tennis Europe
Three young Bulgarian tennis players begin 2009 among the top 10 in the rankings of the European tennis association Tennis Europe for youths between 14 and 16 years of age, announced the website of the Bulgarian tennis federation.
Victoria Tomova is tenth in the rankings for girls aged 14. Victoria Tomova will have the opportunity to increase her points as early as late January – she will participate in the first-rate tournaments in Bolton (UK) and Tarb (France).
Julia Stamatova is eighth in the rankings for girls aged 16 with 350 points, just 30 less than the fourth in the rankings.
Dimirar Kuzmanov is sixth in the rankings for boys aged 16. He is a little over 100 points away from the leader, Vasile Alexandru Gilea (Romania).
