The press center of the municipality of Bourgas announced that the local governor Liubomir Panteleev welcomed the delegation of the Russian company Transneft, lead by the president of the company Nikolai Tokarev.

During the meeting, the Russian representatives confirmed once again, that there will be no delay in the construction of the petroleum pipeline Bourgas – Alexandroupolis. “Work on the project is in full swing”, said Nikolai Tokarev.

The expectations of the company are to begin the construction of the pipeline during the second half of 2010. The project will use the safest, cutting edge technologies, added the Transneft president.
