Misia presents her new project – Lisboarium

The Portuguese fado performer Misia will present her new project Lisboarium on November 28th at the “Bulgaria” hall. The project is dedicated to Lisbon and the poets from the city.

This event could also bear the name “Misia and her poets” – because from the very beginning of her life, the Portugese performer lives through poetry. In her own words: “I tenaciously follow the thread of poetry in my life through my voice – the thread that connects two moments together – when I drew my first breath as a baby and the last breath I take before I’m gone from this world.

I sing because of the words, and music follows after that… I turn especially to modern poets to recommend me suitable poems to sing, and look for other proper poems in the books of those, who are no longer among us. This is my work, my life, and my joy.”
