Fifth edition of “Vinena zavera” in Bansko

The fifth edition of the festival “Vinena zavera” (Wine conspiracy) took place in Bansko last weekend. The event was opened on Saturday in one of the luxurious hotels of the resort by the chairman of the Bulgarian association of professional sommeliers Mihail Markovski.

Over 40 wine brands from all over Bulgaria demonstrated their finest. The event was accompanied by tasting of fine Bulgarian wines. The presentations were followed by a cocktail with the folk singers Maria and Konstantin as entertainers.

The fifth edition of the festival proves that the interest in wine production in Bulgaria and the wine culture in the country are ever increasing. The European deputee Petya Stavreva plans to organize a week of Bulgarian wine in Brussels, aiming to popularize the qualities of Bulgarian wine. The festival “Vinena zavera” is annual.
