Two new lifts in Pamporovo

With a new admission system the resort Pamporovo will decrease queues this winter season. The Austrian system admits 900 people an hour and won’t make skiers nervous as before. The passing will be through chips. Cards for the lift will be available also on the Internet. For virtual cards no deposit will be paid.

New for the resort is the six-seat lift which will serve two new tracks – for beginners and advanced. The length of the line is 2992 metres and its capacity is 2400 people an hour. This means that the total transport capability of Pamporovo’s lifts will be 10 000 people an hour. The seats of the lift have special helmets to preserve tourists from wind and snow. The equipment has optical connection between the stations and a separate power generator.
