On an initiative of the association ‘Our beautiful Bulgaria’ the three churches in Pleven will be repaired ant the mural paintings – restored. That was announced by Daniela Giosheva, a representative of the National Institute for the monuments of culture and a member of the association. The projects for the restoration of the three temples are ready and waiting for a financing from the Ministry of Culture. The contracts for the complete restoration of the buildings have been coordinated with the metropolitan of Pleven – Ignatii.

The repair activities are expected to have been finished until April 2009. In the restoration programme has also been included the temple in the village Staverci.
