Today the Parliament approved the final version of the 2009 budget, after quelling the latest issues between the coalition partners NDSV and BSP last night. An emergency meeting of the budget commission took place this morning to discuss some of the conflicting texts which were later voted on in the plenary.

Deputees from the opposition protested that they were not informed for the commission meeting. The government responded that they couldn’t reach the opposition representatives, but despite the lack of presence of some, they still had quorum.

According to the texts of the appoved budget, some of the proposed social expenses will be carried out only under certain circumstances.
