Submitted on Tuesday, 4 August 2009No Comment

Bulgaria is still among the potential locations for foreign investments, even during the conditions of an international crisis. This was stated by representatives of the American, German and Greek business in Bulgaria.

According to the vice-president of the Board of directors of the American business chamber in Bulgaria Stefan Ivanov this means that more than ever the government should be proactive – to encourage and facilitate the first steps of investors and their next operations in Bulgaria.

The periodic researches for the attractiveness of Bulgaria as an investment location among the members of the German-Bulgarian industrial chamber (GBITK) show positive results, stated the chief executive of the chamber Mitko Vasilev.

A large number of Greek companies in Bulgaria invest and will continue to invest according to their long term strategic plans. “They are here to stay,” says Ioanis Polikandriotis, chairman of the executive council of the Greek buisness union in Bulgaria and CEO of “Eco Bulgaria”.
