The history museum in Ruse – attractive for tourists

The director of the museum in Ruse – Nikolay Nenov – considers his museum attractive for tourists. During the last few years, he observes a tendency for increase of firms interested in contracts with the museum. Thus, the museum participates more and more in tourism expos in both Bulgaria and Romania.

The stalls of the regional museum offers information to both tour operators and individual tourists. The probided information is on the sights of the city, the cliffside churches of Ivan and the medieval city Cherven, Basarabov’s monastery, the cave Orlova chuka and the wine houses of the region. This year, the museum plans to partake in the largest Bulgarian tourism expo, which takes place in February in the National palace of culture.
