A company from Slovakia decided to invest nearly 600 million euro in Bulgaria for the high-tech production of equipment for preparation and transportation of blood plasma.

This was announced by the vice-minister of economics and energetics Yavor Kuiumdzhiev, cited by the Bulgarian national radio.

Bulgaria was chosen after a competition with three other countries. So far, only three countries in the world are developing in that field of technology, added the vice-minister.

The plans of the company are to invest in four facilities in the country that have to be at least 150 kilometres away from each other.

Representatives of the company will arrive in Bulgaria next week.
