Mayor elections in Sofia on November 15th

The president Georgi Parvanov set the date for partial local elections in Sofia and Vratsa.
They will take place on November 15th 2009.
The new elections are needed because the former mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov became the prime minister of Bulgaria, and the mayor of Vratsa Totiu Mladenov became the minister of labor and social politics and a member of the political party GERB.
