The Apostle was honoured in the European parliament on March 3rd

The National holiday of Bulgaria was celebrated in the European parliament in Brussels yesterday. For March 3rd, Bulgarian deputees from all parliamentary parties and independent members of the European parliament from Bulgaria organized a discussion and photo exhibition, dedicated to the life and deeds of Vasil Levski. Ms. Mercia McDermot, author of the book “The Apostle of freedom” was a special guest of the event.

The event was followed by a coctail, organized in collaboration between all Bulgarian deputees in the European Parliament – the European national party – European democrats (ENP-ED), the Party of European Socialists (PES), the Alliance of liberals and democrats of Europe (ALDE) and independent members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria.
