Lili Ivanova criticizes Bulgarian politics

“I’ve always been interested in the things that happen in my homeland and I don’t like what I see. What Bulgaria experiences isn’t democracy, but anarchy.”

Those were the words of the Bulgarian pop star Lili Ivanova for bTV during the interview for publishing of her official biography – “Lili Ivanova – the Truth”.

According to the singer, Bulgaria is lackluster when looking at it from the better developed western countries. “The politicians aren’t the only ones to blame for the situation, but society as a whole. We have to stop segregating”, added Lili Ivanova.

She admitted that the greatest holiday for her is the moment she goes onstage. “It doesn’t matter if it’s a paid concert or charity, I’m always ready to sing”, said Ivanova.
