How can Bulgarians abroad vote for Bulgarian EU deputies?

Each citizen has the right to elect and be elected when living in a country in the European Union that isn’t his homeland. This applies when the person:
– Has a status of a citizen of one of the 27 countries of the European Union;
– Is a legal resident in the country where he wants to vote or be elected;
– Covers the voting and election rights requirements for citizens of the EU country in which he resides.

Citizens of the European Union living in a country that isn’t their homeland have the right to vote and be elected from their current residence, if they want to do so. A citizen can’t vote or be elected in more than country.

Any Bulgarian citizen living in an EU country has the right to vote in the upcoming elections for Bulgarian members of parliament in the European parliament this June. For more information, visit this webpage.
