Former employees of DANS approach the corruption commission

Today, the chairman of the Commission for corruption prevention in the 41st National assembly Yane Yanev summoned in his office Velin Hadjolov and Rashko Zaikov – the former chiefs of the departments OSA and “Counter-espionage” in the Angecy for national security (DANS).

As a result, former employees of DANS approached the Commission for corruption prevention for violations of the law in DANS. According to Yanev, the issues are corruption practices and dependence of DANS agents on several business circles.

“The statements of Rashko Zaekov and Velin Hadjolov will be sent to the chief prosecutor. The prime minister will also be notified on the matter”, said Yanev.

According to him, the reasons for the lack of legal clarity on people who were former employees of the special services and their future endeavors have to be clarified.

The reason behind the meeting was the leak of information for financial misuse and corruption practices in DANS to the national media.
