The biggest private Chinese company, “Great Wall” announced their intentions to build an automobile factory of the Chinese brand near the city Lovech with the help of Bulgarian partners.

The Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev discussed with the delegates of the company lead by their vice-presidents Wenling Sing and Wanbao Chai.

Expectations indicate that the project will begin construction in the beginning of 2009, and Lovech will become the central factory for the whole line of “Great Wall” cars. The investment is of nearly 80 million euro, and the factory will give 1500 working places.

Another idea in the project is to include special programs in the curriculums of the Technical school in Lovech and the Technical university of Sofia, which will train cadres for “Great Wall”.

The Prime Minister expressed his approval to the Chinese representatives and said that the government regards the investment process in Bulgaria as top priority during the last few years.
