Berbatov scores another goal for United
The captain of the Bulgarian national football team Dimitar Berbatov delivered his present for the 50th anniversary of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson in the form of a goal. This was his third goal for United; his team won 5:0 over Stoke City. The Red Devils lead the result as early as the third minute, when Ronaldo scored. Just before the end of the first half, Carrick increased his team’s score to 2:0.
The moment for Berbatov to shine came in the 49th minute. The Bulgarian received Tevez’s lofted pass and drilled low past Stoke’s goalkeeper Sorensen. The fourth goal was the work of the 17 year old Welbeck, and the fifth was again by Ronaldo, in the 89th minute.
